摘  要: In this lecture,  we will introduce the concept of mean curvature of submanifolds in Riemannian manifolds.  The motivation of mean curvature flows and mean curvature equations will be discussed. Then some evolution results on mean curvature flows,  its generalizations of mean curvature type flows  will be presented.  At last, we will discuss the motivations of our recent study on mean curvature type equations.
